When evaluating the Wholesale vs Reseller Programs, the main consideration that Partners should decide is how much control they want to have over areas of the partnership arrangement.
- Buy Direct vs Sell Through - Wholesale Partners purchase cloud or IT service resources directly from Steadfast to augment other solution offerings or just resell to customers. Partner Resellers do not purchase anything directly. They bring opportunities to sell with (and through) Steadfast and collect commissions revenues
- Control Pricing and Margins - Wholesale Partners have access to lowest pricing, allowing them to mark up customer pricing at their discretion and gain the highest margins. Partner Resellers have fewer control options over customer pricing with pre-established margins on deals. There may, however, be an exception here for Certified Platinum Resellers demonstrating high sales volumes.
- White-label Services - Wholesale Partners can whitelabel Steadfast services under their own product portfolio or company brand. Reseller Partners typically position Steadfast as a partner provider to their customers for these services.
- IT Service and Support - Steadfast will help build, deploy, and maintain support for all infrastructure services. However, Wholesale Partners may be expected to manage and support certain customer-facing technologies and systems beyond the infrastructure. Partner Resellers rely on Steadfast to provide complete management and support for their customers.
